    V. Kelly certainly doesn't disappoint in her newest book Accent Hussy! I'm so fortunate to have stumbled upon this amazing author awhile back. She introduced me to the rom-com genre. All of her books I've read so far are not only funny but her storylines flow so effortlessly that your captivated from the first moment right up until the end of her books! Everly is unlike any leading female character I've met so far. If she were real I just KNOW we'd be friends! She's so damn sassy and head strong and hysterically funny to boot! Then there's hot and hunky alpha Caleb! The chemistry is off the charts between these two as well as the humor. It was also nice visiting with Max and Breezy and all the rest of the characters from It Had To Be You Series! I can't wait to see what Vanessa dreams up for the rest of this series! All Vanessa's books are a perfect cure to seriously dark book hangovers, ugly cry hangovers, can't find a good book blues and just life in general!! She is one seriously talented author!!!*I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion*

This is exactly the kind of story that gets me hooked from the first page. I loved seeing Everly change from an immature college student to become a responsible, compassionate, working young women. I loved witnessing the love/hate relationship between Everly and Caleb and seeing how it transformed. Another great aspect was adding more of Max and Breezy from Innuendos. Usually we get a glimpse of the original characters but with this it felt like so much more with the interaction with Everly and Max and breezy as well as other characters from Innuendos. I also loved that Everly's story starts towards the end of Innuendos but doesn't start where it left off. This way the reader gets a little refresher on how the first book ended. I have to admit I did get a little teary eyed at the end in a few parts. Everly is a beautiful person with a heart of gold and I can't wait for the next book to come out so I can continue my love for this group of awesome characters.

This was my first book by V. Kelly and I am so happy that I was able to read this book. I wanted to read the last one but didn't get a chance and was glad I read Accent Hussy. The characters in this book were very entertaining and you will fall in love with them. Although Everly irritated me through most of this because of her obsession with men with accents even though she has had the WORST luck ever with them, she definitely earns her nickname Accent Hussy for sure. When Everly and Max meet it was instant chemistry and it just kept getting stronger as the book went on. The more we learn about Max the more you will fall for him and the banter between the two of them. Everly fights their attraction with all that she has but Max is determined. Will he finally get her to see they are meant to be together? Will Everly find something that is more important to her than a relationship?

I am a bad friend, i totally didn't realise i hadn't already written my review, d'oh!I had the pleasure of reading an advanced copy of Accent Hussy and i was thoroughly looking forwards to this as i loved Innuendos. We briefly met Everly in the first book and along with the rest of the supporting characters i fell in love with her. She is what i look for the most in a leading female, strong, sassy and funny. I LOVE the banter between her and Caleb, yet there was soo much more to it than just banter. Whilst they had me laughing out loud with some of their exchanges, there were moments that truly touched my heart and made me tear up. It was the perfect mix of a rom com with an unbelievably sweet side. And we got more Maggie and her chocolate god :D i can't wait to read more about them.

The story was very well written and very funny from start to finish. How the main female character kept getting herself into those situations always made me ask what she was thinking, if she was thinking at all. Add a main male character that she believes is stalking her makes for one of the best reads I have ever had. Could not stop reading or put the book down for one moment. Highly recommended read.

Funny, sexy and emotional!I absolutely loved Everly and Caleb. Especially Everly!! She's hilarious, wanting to date only guys with accents. Every one brings trouble but she's not giving up. When she meets Caleb he's everything she's looking for in a man but he doesn't have an accent and she needs that. So she avoids him at all costs. Caleb is persistent and is running out of patience. Great background characters too!!!

Everly is drawn to any man with an accent and none of the relationships have worked out for very long. Caleb is a hot boxer that wants her and she is attracted to him, but he doesn't have an accent so she keeps pushing him away. The interaction between her friends and family is funny and entertaining the quips had me laughing. Loved the book, looking forward to reading more stories. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

I LOVED this book. Its fun to see a character who KNOWS what she wants out of life and the type of guy she wants.....Until she is proven wrong! Absolutely hysterically proven wrong! Caleb is so much more than we expected and so much the perfect guy if Everly would just get over her misguided expectations.I loved seeing the sides of the characters each tried to keep hidden and watching them grow. Mostly Everly lol.

    V. Kelly has done it again! I absolutely LOVED Everly and Caleb's story. The banter between these two will have you laughing out loud. Everly is obsessed with any man with an accent and is determined that is what she will have. Caleb is a fighter who does not have an accent and is determined to be with Everly. This story is hilarious and will keep you wanting more. I am so glad I found V. Kelly...she is a must go to on my author list from now on!!

After reading innuendos and loving the dual POV i was a little dissapointed to this being a single pov. With that being said it didnt make it less good and as explained at the ending she might write the Caleb novella and im really hoping that will happen!I did really enjoy this book!

Love this series!!God I can't wait for more!! These books are hilarious!! I love the way they continue without being intrusive to the next story. They tie together really well! I can relate to Everly on so many levels! Who doesn't love a sexy accent?

Hilarious and FrustratingIt is so RARE that I read a book and side with the man of the story and not the woman. However, that is EXACTLY how I felt while reading Accent Hussy. Every McGowan is your typical best friend who never listens to anything you say but you stick around anyway because you love that friend more than anything but you honestly just wish you could shake them or beat some sense into them! So kudos to the amazing V Kelly who developed such a dynamic character that you loved to hate! I was team Caleb from the first moment and through out the book you just fall more and more in love with him! Accent Hussy was hilarious, infuriating, appalling, inspiring, heartbreaking, heartwarming, addicting, and heartmelting all rolled into one story! I highly recommend you pick this book up so you can fall in love with a sexy Alpha with a dominating personality and a mean right hook!

Omg, I'm so done!(Not really, I don't think that's possible. I'm hooked!!!!) Each book V Kelly has keeps me so entranced. I fall in love with one thinking it's my favorite then the next and now I can't tell you which is my favorite because I freakin love them all. Accent Hussey sucker punched me right in my feels. It had me laughing, bawling my eyes out, floating on a cloud of excitement.... I feel speechless after reading this. This one down right took me on the best rollercoaster ride of all times. I loved all the main characters but the youth center girls stole my heart. I fell hard for the other books but this one I fell deep, hard, and fast! Sorry, that sounded a bit dirty. OK, maybe I meant for it to on some level;) Everly (love her name) is an Accent Hussy. Yes, straight up, it's only about the accents, baby! The guy could be the ugliest pizza faced, stinky kretén alive but if she hears an accent be prepared for her to gobble him up like Christmas dinner. YUCK, is very right lol. Her talent is taking on said accents and making them believe she was cut from the same cloth. Each time she falls for a new accent she finds herself in more trouble then the last. Caleb is a boxer who meets our lovely Accent Hussy, Everly, at a Karaoke bar and falls for her. Sadly, it sure sucks to be him, even with his sexy marble sculpted body, he still has no accent. Caleb and Everly have an amazing one nighter but he discovers she slipped out in the middle of the night. That's when his chase begins. I absolutely loved Everly from beginning to end. She was hilarious, snarky and brazen, loving and caring, the list goes on. With Everly you get so many glimpses into who she is and watch her grow so much by the end of the book. She did some not so smart stuff but without it all she wouldn't have ended up where she needed to be. Caleb was hot, panty melting hot! Effin loved his character! Everly and Caleb's chemistry is uncanny. She puts up one hell of a fight. I definitely wasn't expecting some of the stuff that happened, but I loved every minute of it.

After reading Innuendos (book #1 in the series) I couldn't wait to read ACCENT HUSSY. Ms. Kelly writes a great book and her humour, banter and character interactions make for a seriously good read. As expected, Vanessa didn't disappoint!!Accent Hussy features Everly and her seemingly never ending search to find her dream man - with an accent!! Now, history has kinda proven to our leading lady that maybe she's trudging down the wrong path but she's too bloody minded and focused on her goal that she's at a point where she can't even consider what (or who) is in front of her face... This was probably my biggest gripe with Ev.. even when she knew she was being crazy she couldn't/wouldn't face the truth head on - I wanted to shake her at times!! As you can imagine she's a strong willed gal. She's pretty much unfiltered and happily speaks her mind when she feels the need, she's really funny and overall is a good person - she just has kinda sucky judgement when it comes to blokes.Caleb Conaway... I have to admit that where Ev hated Caleb, I absolutely adored him!! He had the right amount of confidence - hedging towards cocky but beneath it all he was a sweetheart - he was hot, knew what he wanted and was determined enough to go for it (and the gods know he had the patience of a saint!!). At one point I was beginning to think he should just give up on ever winning Ev round but I'm glad he stuck with things!! While not just as laugh out loud funny as the first book in the series, this was a fab read - the laughs are still there, it's just a little different from Max & Breezy's story. It was great to catch up with the characters we met in book #1 and the Accent Hussy timelines crosses the storyline from Innuendos so we had a couple of scenes from that book in Everly's POV .I love this series and can't wait for the next book from Vanessa.Accent Hussy is a 4* read for me.

This was my first V. Kelly book and it won't be my last. This book is so well written with an engaging story line, one chapter turned into two and before I knew it I had read the whole book in one sitting. The banter between the characters had me engrossed and laughing out loud so many times. The characters are fabulous. I loved Caleb and Everly. Everly is interesting, quirky and completely original. I loved her quirk of being attracted to guys because of their accents and the dilemmas she faces are hilarious. I loved how Everly develops and she seems to mature and grow as a character and person as you get further into the book. As much as I wanted Everly and Caleb to be together, it was so refreshing to read a story where the heroine didn't fall at his feet. The chase she leads him on is so much fun to read. Caleb is a total alpha spunk. As much as they have an instant connection and attraction Everly fights him at every turn. They are both stubborn, which ignites sparks in and outside of the bedroom. Caleb is a bit of an enigma and totally not what you would expect from a boxer, his character throws out all the stereotypes. The supporting characters are fabulous. I loved all of them their group of friends, Everly and Max's parents are unconventional and so funny. The girls from the after school group are terrific and very believable their attitudes are so accurate for their age. This book fits into the genres of young adult, contemporary romance and romantic comedy. Its a great mix of romance, comedy and angst. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the rest of the books in this series, I can't wait to read more!

This book is hilariously funny with loads of LOL moments and also some moments where I was in tears. The book is filled with loads of loveable character's most of them from Innuendos and also a few characters you would love to strangle.Everly Max’s younger sister from Innuendos and she has a thing for has a thing for guys with accents since her French teacher first opened his mouth. She has a radar for an accented guy like sniffer dog, as soon as she hears one she’s in hot pursuit, talking in foreign tongue and lying her butt off to get the guy that’s the only quality that they need. She meets Caleb he’s a hot as sin boxer she’s instantly attracted to him until he opens his mouth. He’s the best hook-up she’s ever had and Caleb is relentless chasing her, but the deal breaker for her is NO ACCENT so he’s not her dream guy. She dates a lots of guys with accents but they are all losers. She ends up getting in trouble taking the rap of a DUI for one of them leading her to community service. Her community service is at a youth center she never in her wildest dreams thought she’d end up falling in love with the kids there and the main man himself Caleb. She’s a bit dense when it comes to loving a man without an accent but Caleb pulls out every trick in the book because she’s the one for him. Community service ends up being best thing to ever happen to her, and there kids she’s fallen for. It’s the wake-up call she needed to rethink her life. Will Caleb be able to win her over with his non accented voice? Will Everly be too late when it hits her like a sledgehammer that an accent isn’t the only quality needed to love someone?

When I started reading Accent Hussy by V. Kelly, I was expecting the same hilarious type of story like book one in the It Had 2 B U Series. I was surprised however that while the characters sure know how to turn a phrase, the story line itself was actually kind of serious.Don't get me wrong there was plenty of humor in it like most of her other books, but it also had a lot of content covering topics like abuse and drunk driving.Let me give you a brief overview.Everly loves accents so much that she can overlook every flaw a man has as long as he has a sexy accent. She has mastered the art of copying the accents of the men she's interested in. The problem is, she keeps getting herself in bad situations with these accented men.One night at a bar with her friends she sees a sexy god of man who she later finds out is a boxer who trains at her brothers gym. All is going well until he speaks. He has no accent, but even so, Everly decides to go home with him that night. She soon finds herself in serious trouble which ultimately leads her back in Caleb's life and let's her see life from a different point of view. Can she get passed his lack of an accent in order to see the man in front of her? Well you'll have to read the book to find out.I loved the characters in this book! I mean all of them. Everly has a mouth on her I could only strive to replicate. And Caleb, well he's drool worthy at the very least! Your favorite characters from Innuendos make an appearance too. In fact I recommend you read that book first. Bottom line, this book is a must read. I read it in two days because I couldn't put it down.

I received a complimentary copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review. This is my first book from V Kelly and I really enjoyed it, it has a great flow and the chemistry between the two main characters Everly and Caleb was fabulous the banter the have going on really had me laughing out loud.Everly is a sassy young women who has a thing for men with accents but that doesn't mean their relationship material. Caleb is the hot alpha male type and never has a problem getting the ladies that is until he sets eyes on Everly the problem, he doesn't have an accent but that won't stop him pursuing her. Will Everly finally see what's in front of her and take a chance on Caleb or is her addiction to accents about to be her downfall.

Arc in exchange for an honest review ...... and honestly I loved it. I fell in love with Max and Breezy in Innuendos book one in the It had 2 B U series. So of course I wanted to see what would happen in Accent Hussy and V. Kelly didn't disappoint. I loved Accent Hussy! Not only did I laugh but also cried tears of joy then sadness followed by more laughing. The characters were great and felt like I'd known then for years. Everly was hilarious and not to mention the sexy as hell boxer Caleb and the array of men with sexy accents. Was happy I got to hear about Max and Breezy too. I give this book 5 stars and can't wait for the next two books in the series. A must read series!

Slain Seriously love V Kelly's books. The humour mixed in with a very deep and emotional story is a skill I haven't seen a lot in HEA. This one has to be up there with Innuendoes (book 1 in the series) as my top 2 read and my top series in the Humour/Romance genre. This book had me laugh, cry and emotionally wrung by the time I finished. With the great characters, strong secondary's and an amazingly developed plot I'm definitely recommending this story and all of V Kelly's works to anyone with a sense of humour.Bravo Hun ❤️

Loved this bookLet me just say first, that I adore this series. Everly is so funny and sassy! There were a couple surprising twists in this story. Plus a few times I wanted to smack our beautiful miss Everly upside her head. I loved all The characters, and the way that the story flowed. I will be the first to admit I am terrible at writing reviews. If there is any point I want to get across it's that you should read this book! It is funny, it is sassy, and it will pull at your heart strings a bit. Loved it.

I read the first book in this series, Innuendo, and it was great. Book 2 in the series was even better. I love the comedic wit of V. Kelly in her books which really shows her characters' personalities. I was laughing through half the book because of how Everly and Caleb acted towards each other, but I think the priceless moments belong to Everly's parents who had hysterical. The book itself was very well written, and I am definitely looking forward to the third installment of this series.

Love comes when you least expect it. Everly only falls for guys with accents.....That is until she meets Caleb. She plays hard to get and won't admit that she's in love with him. He refuses to give up on her. I loved this story. Follow your heart and never give up on love. I am so glad they finally both got their happily ever after. I can't wait for the next book. Everyone needs to read this story

Can I have a Caleb Conaway please. Anyone who will put up with Everly deserves only the best. This was a fun hate-to-love book. The ending was so beautiful and it moved me dearly. There is every emotion in the book. Happy, sad, and everything in between! If you haven't read a V. Kelly book than start with this even though there is one before it. Both are great but this one stole my heart. Highly recommended.

No Regrets!A heart-wrenching, emotionally shattering tale of Everly and her quest to find her perfect love, preferably one with an accent. I laughed and cried through her ups and downs and felt my heart skip a beat at the intense passion. This inspiring love story will have you out on a ledge looking for your own happily ever after!
